Coffs Coast
The Coffs Coast is located on the east coast of Australia, approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, and includes the townships of Coffs Harbour, Nambucca Heads, Bellingen, Dorrigo, Red Rock and their coastal and rural villages. At the centre of the Coffs Coast region is the vibrant city of Coffs Harbour, which is tipped to become the major regional capital of the New South Wales North Coast. Home to pristine beaches and a lush mountain backdrop, the city has long since been a popular holiday destination, but it now enjoys a steady flow of entrepreneurs, professionals and families, who are transforming Coffs Harbour into a vibrant cosmopolitan city. Not surprisingly, the main industries that drive the Coffs Coast region are service-based, including:
- retail trade
- tourism and sport
- health and education
- manufacturing
The Coffs Coast also boasts a growing number of world-class manufacturers, which have become a key source of innovation, technology, skills development, and overall wealth for the region.
